Custom domains
Connect merchant domains and understand DNS ownership.
Open Settings → Domains. Add the merchant hostname, follow the displayed DNS setup, then use the verify/check actions in the dashboard.
PaidGoods uses Cloudflare for SaaS for merchant domains. Cloudflare verifies the hostname, issues its certificate and sends the request to the PaidGoods storefront service. Both root domains such as theirshop.com and subdomains such as shop.theirshop.com are supported. A root domain needs CNAME flattening or an equivalent ALIAS/ANAME record from the merchant's DNS provider.
Free stores stay at <slug>.paidgoods.com. HTTPS on a merchant domain becomes active only after its ownership and DNS records pass the checks shown in the dashboard.
